Opposition Move Forward Party issues an apology on Wednesday after one of its MP candidates posted on FB Tuesday criticising opposition Pheu Thai Party's latest policy of pushing for 600 baht minimum daily wage by 2027 if elected.
In the statement, Move Forward Party says its MP candidate didn't "catefully think things through", adding that a just minimum wage increase is instrumental in reducing inequality.
Correction: As Thais fiercely debate the merit and plausibility of 600 baht minimum daily wage promised by Pheu Thai by 2027 if elected, a pet hospital in #Bangkok offers a choux cream for your dog for 549 baht for a set of 4 pieces. The current minimum daily wage is about 350 baht dependingon areas.
