Several dead after torrential rain in China
15 people have died and four are missing after torrential rains in southwest China, state media reports according to AFP. The authorities issued a disaster warning since Tuesday for the rainy weather.
Around 85,000 people are said to have been evacuated from their homes due to flooding and the risk of landslides. Buildings and bridges have been destroyed in the bodies of water.

300 flights are canceled from Schiphol in Amsterdam after storm
A storm forces Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, to cancel 300 flights on Wednesday, several media reports.
On Schiphol's Twitter, it is warned that traffic at the airport will be severely restricted during the day, and that train traffic will also be affected.

Iran is brought before the ICJ over the downed plane
Iran is being brought before the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague regarding the Ukrainian plane shot down by the Iranian army in 2020, the court announced, according to several news agencies.
It is Sweden, Ukraine, Canada and Great Britain that want Iran to be ordered to pay compensation to the relatives of the passengers who died.
All 176 people on board the plane died – 17 of them were Swedish citizens or registered in Sweden.
