Russia does not extend the grain agreement – requirements must be met  

 

Russia does not extend the grain agreement with Ukraine, reports Reuters. It was the Kremlin's spokesperson, Dmitry Peskov, who announced it via video to reporters, according to TT. 

 

"When the part of the Black Sea Agreement related to Russia is implemented, Russia will immediately return to the implementation of the agreement," Peskov said.  

 

The grain agreement has been decisive for transport to Africa and the Middle East to continue. According to a UN report, famine has been prevented with the help of the agreement.

Two people are reported dead and another injured after an "emergency" on the bridge connecting annexed Crimea with Russia.
