Attack on the port of Odesa - the day after the agreement expired 

The night after the grain agreement between Russia and Ukraine expired, the port of Odesa in Ukraine was heavily attacked by Russian drones, several media reports. The Ukrainian Defense Forces describe it as several waves of attacks on the port city, according to Ekot. 

 "Unfortunately, debris from downed drones and missiles has damaged the port's infrastructure and several private homes," said the spokesman for the southern Ukrainian military in a statement, writes AFP.  

The port of Odesa has been a key location for Ukraine's grain exports where much of the grain has been stored in silos. During the night, 31 out of 36 drones were shot down according to the Ukrainian military.

Russia: Krym Bridge partially reopened after detonation  

The bridge connecting annexed Crimea with Russia has partially reopened after yesterday's attack. This is stated by Russian authorities, the BBC reports. 

All traffic over the bridge was stopped early Monday morning after a detonation. Two people died and a girl was injured in the attack. Both Russia and sources within the Ukrainian security service claim that Ukraine was behind the detonation. Ukraine has not commented on the incident.  

The bridge is strategically important for Russia, as it enables the transport of weapons and soldiers to the front in Ukraine. Monday's attack is the second against the bridge since Russia's full-scale invasion of the country began last year.
