G7 agree on multi-year security agreement for Ukraine
During the day, the G7 countries will present an "international framework for Ukraine's long-term security arrangements". This is stated by the British government in a statement according to Reuters.
The framework will outline how the allies will support Ukraine in the coming years to end the war.
According to the BBC, the security arrangement involves, among other things, defense equipment, training and the exchange of intelligence information.
The G7 leaders are expected to sign the agreement in connection with the NATO summit in Vilnius.

Zelenskyj: NATO's position is "understandable" - but would have liked to receive an invitation
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is convinced that the country will be a NATO member after the war. He said this at a joint press conference with NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg at the summit in Vilnius.
- Ukraine is now closer to NATO than ever, Stoltenberg said.
Stoltenberg highlighted several decisions in connection with the NATO meeting, including the newly established Ukraine Council and the G7 countries' security agreement.
Ukraine's president welcomed the pledges, saying it is "understandable" that membership cannot become a reality when the war is ongoing. At the same time, security promises are no substitute for full NATO membership.
- The results from the meeting are good, but we should receive an invitation, that would be the optimal thing.

The eyes on Zelensky during the second day of the summit
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj is the protagonist when the second day of the NATO summit in Vilnius gets under way, writes TT.
Zelenskyi arrived in the Lithuanian capital last night and addressed thousands of people. In the evening, he had dinner in the presidential palace with the other leaders.
At the meeting, it has so far been decided to shorten Ukraine's membership process to NATO, but no time frame for possible entry has been specified and Zelenskyi has been critical of vague promises.
During the morning, the North Atlantic Council, NATO's highest decision-making body, meets, and Sweden participates. At lunch, Zelenskyj and NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg will hold a press conference and at 2:30 p.m. Stoltenberg will hold a closing press conference.
