Coral bleaching continues to spread across the Earth
Scientists warn that significant coral bleaching is spreading across the globe. That's what TT writes.
Since April, India, Sri Lanka and the Chagos Islands in the Indian Ocean have been added to the list of places where the US weather agency NOAA has found coral bleaching.
A total of 62 countries and territories are now deemed to be affected.
The UN's climate panel IPCC has pointed out that if the Paris Agreement's 1.5-degree target is not reached, 70 to 90 percent of the world's coral reefs will die out by the year 2100.

At least four dead in severe storm in Houston
At least four people have died in heavy storms in Houston in the US state of Texas. The storm has also caused material damage, floods and almost a million households are without power. This is reported by several media.
City authorities have urged people to avoid going out in traffic as many roads are flooded or blocked by debris.
Several warnings have been issued for strong winds and for tornadoes into the evening, according to the National Weather Service in Houston.
This is the second time this month that Texas has been hit by strong storms
