EU countries cooperate against disinformation before the election
Fact checkers throughout the EU are cooperating to counter disinformation ahead of the EU elections in June, reports Sweden's Radio Ekot.
Misinformation in particular is expected to increase in the coming weeks and can be about everything from the EU's support to Ukraine, climate measures and immigration.
Paula Gori, general secretary of the European digital media observatory in Florence, says that disinformation, among other things, risks undermining and influencing the election.
In Sweden, the Källkritikbyrån is included in the collaboration.
