Israel accuses UN: "Became a kind of terrorist organization"
Israel's UN ambassador Gilad Erdan launches a harsh verbal attack on the organization and accuses it of having become "a kind of terrorist organization". It is in an interview with the Israeli army IDF's own radio channel that Erdan claims that the UN "collaborated with Hamas", writes the Times of Israel.
He echoes Israel's claims that UNRWA employees may be linked to terrorist groups such as Hamas. The so-called Colonna report, which the UN presented at the end of April, showed that Israel did not present any evidence to support the claims.
Gilad Erdan also criticizes the fact that the UN "frequently and quickly" condemns Israeli attacks which he believes are "unverified".

Sources: US approves new major arms package to Israel
The US government has decided to send a new weapons package worth over a billion dollars to Israel, sources told the Wall Street Journal and the AP.
The Biden administration notified Congress of the arms delivery on Tuesday. The package includes tactical vehicles and ammunition for tanks and grenade launchers.
If the information is correct, it would be the first known arms shipment since the United States halted shipments a week ago due to Israel's attack in Rafah in the Gaza Strip.
Joe Biden said last week that he intends to stop arms deliveries if Israel launches a major ground invasion in Rafah. Since then, Israel has attacked Rafah from the air and made targeted raids with ground troops in the city.
