Sources: CIA chief travels to Doha - wants to save negotiation

CIA chief Bill Burns is on his way to Qatar's capital Doha to try to save the peace talks between Israel and Hamas, a source familiar with the negotiations told AFP.

At the same time, Hamas announces that the negotiating delegation that has been in Egypt is leaving the talks for separate deliberations. They are expected to return on Tuesday.

Hamas and Israel have accused each other of sabotaging the negotiations, which are being held in Egypt and include mediators from the United States and Qatar. Hamas demands an end to the war, something Israel has refused to agree to.

Bildt defends Al Jazeera: "Brave journalism"

Sources: US supply of ammunition put on hold

The United States last week paused a shipment of ammunition to Israel, Israeli sources told Axios. It is the first time this has happened since the October 7 attack by Hamas.

Report: Anti-Semitism is on the rise throughout the Western world
