Police inspectors to review security work at UCLA
Los Angeles university UCLA has introduced a new security role in the wake of the pro-Palestinian demonstrations, the LA Times reports.
Former police chief Rick Braziel, whom the NYT describes as a police expert, will be responsible for overseeing police work on campus. He has previously examined the police in a number of high-profile cases.
Harsh criticism has been leveled since violence broke out last week. Pro-Palestinian demonstrators were attacked and forced to defend themselves for several hours before the police showed up, writes the LA Times.

Student protests spread to Denmark: "Joining us"
A group of pro-Palestinian students has set up a tent camp at the University of Copenhagen. Behind the action is a group that calls itself "Students against the occupation".
In a press release, the group writes that "we join the global student movement for Palestine, which demands that educational institutions worldwide take responsibility".
- We invite all students to join, says student Emil Nielsen to Danish TV2.
According to Berlingske's reporter on the spot, it is about 50 to 100 people, but more tents are being set up continuously. So far the demonstration is completely peaceful.
Similar demonstrations have taken place at top universities in the US and France
