Trump: Iran no longer respects our country
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump spoke during a campaign meeting on Tuesday evening, Swedish time, about the Iranian robot attack on Israel. NBC News reports.
- I have talked about World War III for a long time, and I don't want to make predictions because they always happen, but they are very close to a global catastrophe, Trump said.
The former president also claimed that Iran would never have dared to attack Israel if he had been in the White House.
- They simply do not respect our country anymore.
Around the same time, the Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris speaks out, and renews an earlier promise of "unfailing" support for Israel's security.
- I will always assure that Israel has the ability to defend itself against Iran and Iran-backed terrorist militias, she says according to AFP.

Iran's President: Only a small part of our strength
Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian says that it has given a "determined response" to "Israel's aggression" with Tuesday's robot attack - but at the same time claims that it is not looking to start a war.
"Iran is not belligerent, but stands firm against all threats. This is only a small part of our strength. Don't get into a conflict with Iran," writes the president on X.
Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi writes on the same platform that the Iranian attacks including the evening's robot attacks are over as long as Israel does not "invite further retaliation."

Sources: US ships shot down Iranian robots
President Joe Biden on Tuesday night ordered US forces in the Middle East to help shoot down the robots fired at Israel from Iran. Reuters reports.
Military sources told the Washington Post that American ships in the Mediterranean shot down several of the robots.
Joe Biden and Kamala Harris followed the Iranian robot attack from the White House's so-called "situation room" on Tuesday evening.
Iran on Tuesday night fired more than 100 missiles at Israel in what it described as retaliation after Israel killed Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in an airstrike late last week.
