Analyst: Trump's phone will be manufactured in China
The Trump family's gold-colored T1 mobile phone, which was presented on Monday, is being launched as "built in the USA" - but according to analysts, it will likely be manufactured in China, write CNBC and SvD Näringsliv.
According to International Data's vice president Francisco Jeronimo, there is no chance that the phone is designed or will be assembled in the USA.
- It is completely impossible, he tells the channel.
SvD's tech analyst Björn Jeffery believes that the phone will be manufactured in China as it is likely impossible to do in the USA. And even if a phone were to be completely assembled in the USA with foreign parts, the Wall Street Journal has shown that it would increase the cost tenfold, Jeffery notes.

Spotify founder increases his investment in the hyped defense company Helsing
When the AI and defense company Helsing raises another EUR 600 million, close to SEK 6.6 billion, Spotify founder and major owner Daniel Ek will become the largest buyer in the new share issue. This is reported by the Financial Times.
According to the newspaper's sources, Helsing's valuation has more than doubled to 12 billion euros, around 131 billion kronor. This means that Helsing is now one of Europe's most highly valued startups. However, the company does not want to comment on this information.
Back in 2021, just months before the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Prima Materia made its first investment in Helsing and Ek tells the FT that it is now "investing even harder". The round also includes existing owners Saab and several venture capital firms.
