Trump is considering attacking Iranian nuclear facilities.

This is what several sources tell  Axios.

The underground facility in Fordow in particular is being singled out as a target.

Donald Trump has been updating his Truth Social platform extensively on Tuesday.

Among other things, he writes that the US “knows exactly” where  Iran's supreme leader is.

Trump describes Ali Khamenei as an “easy target.”

“We are not going to kill him, at least not now,” he writes and continues:

”But we do not want rockets to be fired at civilians or American soldiers. Our patience is running out.”

Later, he wrote in a brief post: “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER” without mentioning Iran by name.

Assembles Security Council

On Tuesday evening, Trump gathered the National Security Council in the White House “situation room” to decide how the United States should act in the conflict between Israel and Iran.

According to several sources to Axios, Trump is seriously considering intervening in the conflict and launching an American attack on Iranian nuclear facilities.

The underground facility in Fordow is specifically mentioned.

Israel believes the United States will enter

Trump left the G7 meeting in Canada early to focus on the conflict.

Aboard Air Force One, he said he was not interested in a “ceasefire” but a “real end” to the conflict and Iran’s nuclear weapons program.

Two Israeli sources also told Axios that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israeli Defense Forces believe the United States is likely to enter the conflict in the coming days.

“Clear signals of something big”

There have been several signals in recent days that the United States is strengthening its military foothold in the Middle East.

Among other things, the course of the US aircraft carrier Nimitz has been changed after increased tensions between Israel and Iran.

The ship was actually on its way to Vietnam – but changed course to the Middle East due to an “urgent operational need”.

At the same time, several American tanker aircraft were sent to Europe on Monday.

According to Middle East expert Alexander Atoradi, the risk of a major war has increased.
