Donald Trump's interest in golf has once again sparked reactions. Last week he was criticized after his cheating on the golf course was caught on film. Now it's because of how much time he spends on the course – and what it costs.

Trump has just returned from a five-day trip to Scotland where he took the opportunity to inaugurate a new golf course in Aberdeenshire.

According to Finnish Iltalehti, citing Forbes, the president has spent over 23 percent of his time as president on the golf course. Translated into figures, it has cost a lot of money.

Received strong criticism

According to the site Trump Golf Tracker, it has cost American taxpayers a whopping $63 million, equivalent to approximately SEK 615 million.

The cost is based on four of Trump's golf trips. A large reason for the high amounts is that the president always travels with a large security team.

According to the Independent, Trump spent most of his five days in Scotland on his own golf courses and hotels. After pictures of Trump golfing began circulating on social media, it has been met with great criticism.
