Tensions in the Caribbean

The US has bombed another alleged drug boat – six killed

The US has bombed another boat that was allegedly smuggling drugs in the Caribbean Sea, writes Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on X.

Six people were killed in the attack, which took place in international waters, he continues.

"If you are a narco-terrorist who smuggles drugs in our hemisphere, we will treat you like al-Qaeda. Day and night, we will map your network, track you, find you and kill you," writes the minister.

Nicolas Maduro to Trump: "No crazy war, thank you"

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro seems to be appealing to Donald Trump not to escalate the conflict between the countries, writes AFP.

- Yes peace, yes peace forever, peace forever. No crazy war, thank you, Maduro said in English during a meeting with unions allied with the leftist president.

The US has recently attacked several ships that it has accused of smuggling drugs, without providing any evidence. A total of 37 people have been killed since September 2.

Maduro, for his part, has accused the US of trying to orchestrate a coup d'état in Venezuela.
