Frederiksen has moved – to a secret location

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has moved. The reason is an increased “security situation” surrounding the prime minister, who does not want to disclose where the family now lives.
After barely two years in an apartment in central Copenhagen, Frederiksen has been forced to move. But she does not want to say where she now lives, not even which municipality the moving party has gone to.
– You could say there has been a strong increase in interest (in my person). It is also a security situation, and on top of that comes a private life. When I put those pieces together, I hope for understanding that I cannot say more than that, she says.
The accommodation has been disrupted by demonstrations outside the house, which has affected the family, she says.
– I don't have much privacy, and neither does my family. We actually only have that in our home, and that has also been taken away from us.
The newspaper Ekstrabladet revealed in October that Frederiksen had moved, but she had not confirmed the information herself until Friday.
