Louisville plane crash caught on camera

Tuesday night's plane crash in Louisville, Kentucky, was caught on several surveillance cameras.

The footage shows a large fireball surrounding the UPS cargo plane. According to NBC, the plane was carrying more than 140,000 liters of fuel when it crashed as it was about to take off.

- Oh, hell, one person exclaims in a clip published by CNN.

At least nine people have died. It is unclear what caused the crash.

Cargo plane crashes in US – several dead

At least nine people have died and eleven have been injured after a cargo plane from the distribution company UPS crashed in Louisville in the US state of Kentucky, US media report.

The crash occurred at takeoff at 5:15 p.m. local time. The plane was en route to Honolulu in Hawaii. Video clips show a fire breaking out on one of the plane's wings before the plane crashes and explodes in a large fireball.

According to authorities, the death toll is expected to rise.
