Trump wants to expand his power after a possible election victory
Donald Trump intends to take on the "radical left", "Marxist prosecutors" and give himself more power if he wins the US presidential election next year. This is written by Axios, which has compiled the ex-president's proposals so far.
'Much of the politics revolves around the storming of the Capitol. Among other things, he has promised to pardon all those convicted for their involvement in the incident, which so far is around 500 people. He also wants the president, meaning himself, to be able to fire government officials, something that Axios interprets as Trump wanting to be able to get rid of those he considers disloyal.
On Ukraine, he says he would immediately negotiate peace and cut off military aid.

DeSanti's plan: The entire United States will become more like Florida
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is preparing to challenge Donald Trump with an election platform that is about making America less "woke" and more like Florida, writes Axios.
DeSantis is expected to announce his candidacy shortly and try to win over voters from Trump - who leads widely in opinion polls - with messages about, among other things, abortion restrictions and limited LGBT rights.
In the spring, DeSantis introduced around 80 new laws in Florida, including one of the US's toughest abortion laws and a ban on gender reassignment for minors, against a course in African-American studies in schools and against compulsory mouth protection and vaccines.
"We have fought against the woke elite in Florida and we have won again and again," writes DeSantis in his new book.
