McCarthy: Deadlock until Joe Biden returns to the US
US President Joe Biden held up with his staff to schedule a conversation with the Speaker of the House of Representatives Kevin McCarthy, pretending that the Republican accused the White House of delaying the negotiations on the debt ceiling. That's what Bloomberg writes on the night of Sunday. McCarthy does not believe that the deadlock will be broken while the president is still abroad.
