The criminal trial against Donald Trump is in full swing, but it is still unclear whether the ex-president will testify.
Trump has said he is interested in being questioned in court, and his defense attorney Todd Blanche told The Hill that they expect to reach a decision "sooner or later."
The defense is not expected to call any witnesses of its own, according to the newspaper, which means that the negotiations may end as early as next week.
The prosecution has called a total of 19 witnesses. The lawsuit concerns accounting violations, including payments to a porn star to buy her silence.
Trump denies all the accusations.
