The development of electric cars
The industry critical - wanted a Swedish no
Mobility Sweden is critical of the government dropping the Swedish vote in Friday's vote on increased customs duties on electric cars from China. The industry organization believes that Sweden should have voted no, just like Germany.
- It is unfortunate with the tariffs and the more countries that say no, the more willing to compromise we think the EU Commission would be, says CEO Mattias Bergman to Dagens Industri.

The Middle East Crisis|The Reactions
Experts on oil prices: Does not affect inflation
Unrest in the Middle East has pushed oil prices to their highest levels since August. And if Iran's oil facilities are attacked, prices risk rising further. But so far there is no reason to worry about a new burst of inflation, according to experts DI spoke to.
- As long as you cannot draw a definitive conclusion about the persistence of the oil price rise, the concern about higher inflation should be limited, says SEB's senior economist Robert Bergqvist.
The spot price of Brent and WTI have increased by 12 and 9 percent respectively during the week.
Strategist: Can influence monetary policy
The escalation in the Middle East risks having major economic consequences, with rising oil prices that could drive up inflation. In the long run, it could affect the central banks' monetary policy, warns SEB's interest rate and currency strategist Amanda Sundström.
- What is happening right now does not necessarily have to affect future interest rate cuts in the rest of the world, but the major central banks take the oil price into greater consideration, she tells SvD Näringsliv.
That the Riksbank would change its interest rate path because of what is happening is, however, unlikely at the moment, underlines Sundström.

The port strike in the USA
The warning after the strike: The danger is far from over
The
danger in the global container shipping market is far from over,
despite the end of the US port strike yesterday. This is what Xeneta's
chief analyst Peter Sand tells DI.
- It is good news that the strike is over. But the danger is far from over. It is only a preliminary agreement.
He points out that the parties are postponing the dispute over automation and warns that new strikes may flare up.
The
strike, which affected many major US ports, has led to queues of ships
and rising freight rates. Sundström emphasizes that companies should be
prepared for continued high shipping costs and delays for several weeks
to come.
