Iran's Supreme Leader: Strikes Again If Necessary

Iran's robotic attack on Israel was both legal and legitimate. This is what Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei says during a rare appearance on Friday, several media reports.

- If necessary, we will strike against Israel's regime again, he says according to TT.

The Ayatollah holds the Friday prayer in Tehran in front of thousands of followers. According to AFP, it is the first time in almost five years and it is being done in connection with a memorial ceremony for the slain Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.

Iran's foreign minister has landed in Beirut

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has landed in Lebanon's capital Beirut, according to information in local media, writes AFP.

"An Iranian plane has landed at Rafik Hariri International Airport, with Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on board," writes a Lebanese news agency according to AFP.

It is the first time a top Iranian politician has visited Lebanon since Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was killed in an Israeli airstrike a week ago.

According to Reuters, Araghchi is to meet Lebanon's acting prime minister Najib Mikati and Speaker Nabih Berri, who is a close ally of Iran-backed Hezbollah.
