Argentina releases secret Nazi documents

Documents that have so far been classified are to be opened to the public. The documents are about Nazis who fled to Argentina after the end of World War II, writes TT and refers to the newspaper Clarín.

The documents are to contain new clues about who financed the Nazis' lives in Argentina and how it was done, says the country's Defense Minister Luis Petri. This may shed light on how certain banks, both Argentine and European, worked to facilitate and conceal the handling of Nazi money, according to the Defense Minister.

– Argentina once became a Nazi refuge. Nazi leaders such as Mengele, Priebke and Eichmann lived here, but it was not only them. It is estimated that around 5,000 Nazis may have lived or passed through Argentina between 1945 and 1955, Petri says according to the newspaper.

Sweden in new BBC series about dangerous places in the world

In a new BBC documentary, British TV personality Ashley Cain will visit and explore some of the world's most dangerous places, one of which is Sweden.

During one of the episodes, he meets young men in Sweden, which is described as a hotspot for gang-related shootings and bombings.

- The harsher reality Sweden faces today is shocking and unknown to most people without close connections to the country, writes the series' producer Minna Sedmakov in an email to Expressen.

The presenter tells the BBC that the series is not only about danger but also about perspective and an unfiltered reality. In the series, he also visits South Africa, favelas in Brazil, Marseille in France, the Philippines and Colombia, among other places.

Netanyahu travels to Hungary - Orbán expected to leave ICC

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu plans to visit Hungary to meet with the country's Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, news agencies report. The trip is planned despite an international arrest warrant being issued for the Israeli leader.

The four-day visit to Budapest is a sign of both Netanyahu's close relationship with Orbán and his growing hostility towards international institutions, such as the International Criminal Court (ICC), writes the AP.

Orbán has promised to ignore the ICC order against the Israeli leader, and The Times of Israel writes that Hungary is expected to announce its withdrawal from the International Criminal Court in connection with the visit.

The trip to Hungary is Netanyahu's first to a European country since the ICC issued an arrest warrant for him last year.
