Kremlin on Trump's submarine move: We should be careful
The Kremlin is commenting for the first time that Donald Trump has moved nuclear submarines to the Russian region, Reuters reports.
The spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, says that everyone should be careful with nuclear rhetoric, but plays down Trump's statement.
Peskov says that it has been obvious for some time that the two submarines are on a military mission and that the Kremlin is not interested in getting into a polemic with Donald Trump.
Trump announced last night that the two submarines have arrived in the Russian region, but it is not yet clear whether they are nuclear-armed submarines.
