Death toll rises in the Philippines

The death toll from Typhoon Kalmaegi in the Philippines is rising further, reports the AP. 114 people have been confirmed dead, but 127 people are still missing

- We always expect the worst, and what I saw yesterday was the worst, volunteer worker Caloy Ramirez told the AP after the typhoon's advance.

Most of the deaths are on the island of Cebu, which was hit hardest by the typhoon.
