EXCLUSIVE—The Thai military's Airbus A340-500 plane, registration HS-TYV, has flown from Thailand to Germany again. The plane flew from Bankok to Berlin on September 27 and then arrived in Munich on Monday.

Last time the plane flew to Munich, it was army chief Apirat Kongsompong going to hold talks with King Vajiralongkorn. But this time Apirat is still in Thailand, so it's not confirmed why the plane is in Munich.

The most likely explanation is that Princess Sirivannavari used the plane to visit her father in Bavaria then go to Paris for fashion week. Whoever was aboard, it's Thai taxpayers who have to pay the bill for flying an Airbus A340 all the way from Thailand to Germany and back.
