HRW: Israel targets aid workers - has killed at least 15 on purpose

Israel has shelled aid transports and warehouses in Gaza, despite their positions being sent in advance to Israeli authorities. This is what the independent organization Human Rights Watch writes in a report, reports AFP.

HRW has documented eight cases in which a total of at least 15 people have been killed by Israeli shelling after they forewarned aid shipments to ensure safety.

One of the examples is the attacks against the American organization World Central Kitchen on April 1, where seven aid workers were killed, according to The Guardian. The organization directly stated that the shelling of the convoy was systematic. It has been denied by Israel.

Details: Tanks are seen further and further into Rafah

There are reports that Israel is moving further into eastern Rafah, reports Reuters. Tanks are said to have been seen in several areas, but the information is difficult to verify.

Since Israel called on civilians to leave, around 450,000 people have fled, to sandy areas closer to the coast.

Israel has now massed enough troops around Rafah to launch a full-scale attack in the next few days, US intelligence sources told CNN.
