Crypto Market
Trump is worth at least $100 billion – has 70 percent of his assets in crypto

Donald Trump is worth at least $10 billion, about $105 billion in Swedish kronor. This is according to a New York Times survey.

How many billions Trump is worth has long been a contentious issue. He himself has claimed that he has assets of more than $10 billion, but the complicated ownership structure of his family business makes it difficult to confirm.

As president, he must report certain assets, such as crypto and stock holdings. These figures show that he has around $2.2 billion in stocks, funds and cash, $1.3 billion in real estate and other business assets and a whopping $7.1 billion in cryptocurrencies.

Trump has entered the world of cryptocurrencies hard and has made large sums of money there in a short time. Among other things, on his scandal-ridden so-called memecoin $Trump.

Kennedy Jr. Pulls Scientific Journals

Scientists and other employees at several US agencies are losing access to a number of scientific journals, including the prestigious Nature, writes Ars Technica.

Health Secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr., who advocates alternative medicine, has previously claimed that scientific journals are "a tool for pharmaceutical propaganda."

- Precious tax dollars should not be spent on unnecessary subscriptions to junk science, says Health Department spokesman Andrew Nixon, according to Nature News.

The War on the Media
Trump settles with TV giant - receives millions

Media group Paramount agrees to pay Donald Trump $16 million after he sued the company over an interview on the CBS News program "60 Minutes." The New York Times reports.

Trump believed that the interview with his opponent in the presidential election, Kamala Harris, was edited to make Harris appear in a better light and thus have a better chance in the election.

As part of the settlement, Paramount agrees to release transcripts of other “60 Minutes” interviews with American presidential candidates.

New York mayoral election
Trump threatens to deport or arrest Mamdani

Donald Trump has once again attacked New York's likely next mayor Zoran Mamdani, writes Time.

During a press conference on Tuesday, Trump called Mamdani “100 percent communist fool” and threatened to both deport and arrest him.

Mamdani himself writes on social media that his campaign “will not accept these threats.”

“His statements are not only an attack on democracy but also an attempt to send a message to all New Yorkers who refuse to hide in the shadows: If you speak out, we will come and get you,” Mamdani writes.

The 33-year-old won the Democratic primary in New York last week, which means he has a good chance of becoming the city’s mayor in the November election.

Mamdani describes himself as a democratic socialist and has campaigned on issues such as free public transportation.
