The Russian invasion. The outside world's response
Task: Germany only has 20,000 artillery shells left
Germany has only 20,000 high-explosive artillery shells left in stock, writes Der Spiegel, as quoted by Reuters. This since the country has sent large quantities of grenades to Ukraine since Russia's invasion.
If the numbers are correct, Germany is far below NATO's target, which means that the country should have at least 230,000 shells in stock, which should be enough for 30 days of fierce fighting.
The information comes from secret defense documents. According to Der Spiegel, the figures have been produced by the defense committee to convince the finance committee that more grenades need to be purchased.

British partygate
Boris Johnson is carried from the British Parliament
Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is being escorted from the British Parliament, reports Sky News.
This follows a vote on whether or not Johnson should face sanctions for his handling of the partygate mess.
On Thursday, the final report was released, which found Johnson deliberately misled parliament about his own knowledge of the Downing Street pandemic parties.
During the evening, the parliament voted on whether they agree with the conclusions. The result was 354 yes against 7 no.
The Independent notes that the vote took place on Johnson's 59th birthday.

The US-China relationship
Biden on the relationship with China: "We are on the right track"
There were no breakthroughs in the relationship between the US and China during US Secretary of State Antony Blinken's trip to Beijing. This is what President Joe Biden said on Monday evening, according to Reuters.
But he said that the US and China are still "on the right track" and praised Blinken's efforts.
- He did a damn good job, said Biden.
On Monday, Blinken met Chinese President Xi Jinping. According to Blinken, the two agreed to "stabilize" the severely deteriorated relationship between the countries. However, he did not get China to agree that the military powers of both countries should resume their communication, AP writes.

Trump's legal affairs
Trump is prohibited from talking about the investigation against him
Donald Trump is prohibited from sharing information about the ongoing investigation against him regarding the secret documents he kept in his residence, writes The Hill. The decision was made by a judge at the request of the Department of Justice.
Trump is allowed to take part in evidence, even classified, but only in the presence of his lawyer. But he is not allowed to talk about the material in the media or on social networks as long as the investigation is ongoing.
The former president is suspected of keeping highly classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago residence, showing them to unauthorized persons and then trying to obstruct the FBI's investigation.
