Trump: Vows to impeach Biden if re-elected
Donald Trump says he wants to impeach US President Joe Biden if he is re-elected, writes the New York Times.
Trump believes that the prosecution against him is politically motivated as he is Biden's political opponent.
- I will appoint a real special prosecutor to go after [...] Joe Biden and the entire criminal Biden family, Trump stated after appearing in court in Miami.
Trump has been indicted on 37 counts of keeping classified and sensitive documents in his home and faces a long prison sentence. Trump has repeatedly denied wrongdoing and claims there is a witch hunt against him.

Sources: Trump Rejects Lawyer's Advice on Settlement
Donald Trump's lawyer tried to get him to reach a settlement in the document investigation already last fall. But the former president was not interested and chose a more confrontational stance, sources told the Washington Post.
Trump has repeatedly ignored advice from people close to him. He first lied that the boxes at the Mar-a-Lago residence contained only newspaper clippings and clothes. When it emerged that there were classified documents in the boxes, he refused to return them, despite repeated pressure from advisers.
'Last year, Trump returned 15 of the boxes and told staff to send out press releases that everything had been returned. In fact, he kept over 100 classified documents.
