The population of Gaza will be relocated in an “intensive” Israeli operation. This is what Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says after Israel’s security cabinet approved the plan for an expanded offensive on the Gaza Strip.
In a post published on X, Netanyahu says that the intention is not to carry out raids into the Gaza Strip and then retreat, and that the population will be relocated “for their own safety”.
According to the Times of Israel, the ultranationalist Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich says that the population will be separated from Hamas and that all hostages will be brought home.

Israel attacks port under Houthi control
Israel has attacked the port of Hodeida in western Yemen, which is controlled by the Iran-backed Houthi militia. The Israeli army confirms this, according to Haaretz.
The Houthis themselves have also issued the same statement, blaming Israel and the US.
The Israeli army says the port is used to transport weapons from Iran.
On Sunday, the Houthi militia threatened to continue its attacks on Israeli airports after they fired a rocket at Ben Gurion Airport outside Tel Aviv in Israel, according to AFP.
