Danish arrested – suspected of spying for Iran
A Danish man has been arrested on suspicion of collecting information about Jewish targets in Berlin for Iran's intelligence service, several news agencies report.
There may have been plans to carry out an attack on places or people with Jewish connections, writes AP.
Germany's federal prosecutor's office confirms in a press release that the person "received orders from Iranian intelligence to collect information," reports AFP.
According to Danish TV2, the suspect will be deported from Denmark and put on trial in Germany.

At least 30 killed in attack on beach cafe in Gaza City
At least 30 people have been killed in an Israeli attack on a well-known beach cafe in Gaza City, according to witnesses and medics. This is reported by the AP.
Videos on social media show bloody and disfigured bodies on the ground.
– It happened without warning. A fighter jet attacked the place, it felt like an earthquake, says Ali Abu Ateila, who was there when the attack took place.
The cafe is one of the few businesses that has remained open during the war. It has been a gathering place for Gazans where it has been possible to charge phones and access the internet.
Israel says the attack targeted Hamas terrorists and says the incident is being investigated, writes Haaretz.
Another 44 Palestinians have reportedly been killed in new Israeli attacks elsewhere in the Gaza Strip. Among other things, 23 people are said to have been shot dead at a food distribution point.
Netanyahu Visits White House – Promises of Ceasefire
Israeli
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will visit the White House next week.
The visit was announced shortly after Donald Trump promised a ceasefire
in Gaza “within a week”.
The two leaders are expected to discuss
the situation in Iran and Gaza, as well as the conditions for a new
agreement on a ceasefire in Gaza, with the hope of also bringing the
hostages home, writes Axios.
