"Doge a bit successful – but don't do it again"

Elon Musk's flagship project, the efficiency department Doge, which helped the Trump administration cut federal spending, was "a bit successful" but is not a project he would resume. The multibillionaire said this in an interview with podcaster Katie Miller that was released on YouTube on Tuesday.

- If I hadn't been involved in Doge, I would have worked with my companies and they wouldn't have burned my cars, he said, referring to the vandalism against Tesla cars that took off when he began working with Donald Trump.

In the episode, Musk stated that 2 to 3 percent of all government-related spending "should not be paid" but that it is difficult to stop, Forbes reports.

Interviewer Katie Miller is married to White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller.

Showing social media may become a requirement for travel to the USA

Anyone traveling visa-free to the USA may be forced to show their social media history for five years, writes AFP.

Today, residents of more than 40 countries, one of which is Sweden, can visit the USA for up to 90 days without a visa. However, a so-called ESTA approval, an electronic travel authorization, is required.

According to the new rules that the Trump administration is planning, social media will become part of the ESTA application.

According to the proposal, travelers will also have to provide phone numbers from the last five years and email addresses from the last decade.
