The Iran war is in its third day.

Donald Trump does not rule out US ground troops in Iran and is turning up the heat.

- The big bang is coming soon, he tells CNN.

As the US and Israel's attacks on Iran are now in their third day, over 500 people are reported to have been killed in Iran and four American soldiers have lost their lives.

During a medal ceremony at the White House, Trump said that the US estimates the attacks will last four to five more weeks. At the same time, he emphasizes that the US has the capacity to continue significantly longer than that.

"There is nothing boring"

- We can go on for a long time, there is nothing boring about what we are doing, Trump said before moving on to talk about the White House interior.

During the same ceremony, Trump claimed that it was the US's last chance to defeat what he called the "threat from Iran".

Earlier in the day, Trump hinted that the attacks on Iran are only in the initial phase.

"The big bang is coming soon"

- We haven't even started hitting hard yet, the big wave hasn't come. The big bang is coming soon, he told CNN at the time.

In addition, Donald Trump has said that he does not rule out American troops on the ground in Iran.

- Every president says there will never be any ground troops, but I'm not going to say that. But it probably won't be necessary.
