Reactions are pouring in after the US attacks on Iran.

Even within Trump's own political camp, there is great criticism.

"This is not America First!" says right-wing influencer Alex Jones.

Early Saturday morning, the US and Israel launched their joint attack on  Iran

Several Republicans rallied behind Trump. Speaker Mike Johnson, Majority Leader John Thune and several other members were quick to praise the attack.

At the same time, harsh criticism is coming – from some of Trump's biggest supporters.

“Hate this fucking shit”

Marjorie Taylor Greene, who was previously one of Trump’s perhaps most loyal supporters, is coming out hard on social media.

On the X platform, she writes that the American people do not want any more wars and that younger generations will have to clean up what the current administration is doing.

The Trump-loyal podcast duo Hodgetwins writes: “Trump has completely LIED to his voters, stabbed our country in the back and embarrassed himself beyond repair.”

Right-wing influencer Alex Jones expresses himself in similar terms and says in his podcast: “This is not America First! We will not engage in this kind of thing anymore.” MAGA profile Tucker Carlson also spoke out, calling the attack “disgusting and evil,” ABC reports.

“An illegal war”

Even from the Democratic side, the tone is high.

Kamala Harris says that the United States is currently being dragged into a war that the American people do not want and calls Donald Trump a liar.

In the United States, the debate is also intensifying over Trump's failure to obtain Congressional approval for the attacks on Iran and previously Venezuela.

Several members of Congress point out that Trump did not consult the US Congress before the attacks on Iran - something that may violate the US Constitution. Democrat Ro Khanna calls the attacks "a slap in the face of the US Congress."

"The president has launched an illegal war without any imminent threat. He did not consult Congress," he tells CNN.
