Far-right march in Ceuta met with counter-protesters

The far-right group Núcleo Nacional organised a march through Ceuta on Saturday, calling for people to protest against the “treacherous” government and “defend the area”, Sky News reports.

Dozens of protesters, surrounded by a large police force, marched through the city. They were met by a larger number of counter-protesters shouting slogans such as “Ceuta is united, not divided”.

Police cordoned off parts of the city centre to avoid violent clashes.
