Middle East Crisis USA vs Iran

Sources: US did not destroy Iran's nuclear facilities

A preliminary assessment from the US military intelligence agency DIA indicates that Iran's nuclear facilities were not destroyed in the attacks, and that only a few months of progress were erased. This is stated by sources for CNN and the New York Times.

Iran's stockpile of enriched uranium is said to have not been destroyed, and the centrifuges where it is enriched are described as "largely intact" by CNN's sources.

According to New York Times sources, the entrances to two facilities collapsed, but not the underground structures.

The White House states that it is aware of the assessment, but does not agree with it.

"This alleged assessment is completely incorrect and was classified as top secret, but was nevertheless leaked to CNN by some anonymous zero in the intelligence community," writes press secretary Karoline Leavitt in a comment.

Donald Trump and the military have claimed that the bombings were a success, and that the Iranian facilities were completely destroyed.

Trump: “It was my great honor to stop the war”

Donald Trump has commented on the ceasefire in the Middle East in a new post on Truth Social.

“Both Israel and Iran wanted to stop the war, equally! It was my great honor to destroy all nuclear facilities & capabilities, and then stop the war!” he writes.

On Tuesday afternoon, there were no new reports of ceasefire violations. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated in state media that Iran will not break the ceasefire unless Israel does so, writes Sky News.

At the same time, the Israeli military stated in a statement that “the focus is now back on Gaza to bring back the hostages and dismantle Hamas rule,” reports Reuters.
