Another
story on Thai royal wealth. The estimate of $43 billion for King
Vajiralongkorn is well below the real amount, but at least it’s an
improvement on the out-of-date figure figure of $30 billion that many
media are still using.
With
an estimated net worth of US$43 billion, Thailand’s King Maha
Vajiralongkorn, officially known as King Rama X, is the richest royal in
the world.
Meanwhile, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, of Brunei, comes in a distant second with a total wealth valued at US$28 billion.
The
third richest royal is from the Middle East. The wealth of King Salman
bin Abdul Aziz al-Saud, from Saudi Arabia, is valued at around US$18
billion, followed by Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al-Nahyan, of Abu Dhabi in
the United Arab Emirates (US$15 billion), King Mohammed VI, from
Morocco (US$8.2 billion); and Prince Hans-Adam II, of Liechtenstein
(US$7.2 billion).

Meanwhile,
his sons Prince William and Prince Harry come next, and both are valued
around US$40 million. Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge – is
calculated at US$10 million.
