The cartoon call "MOMENT 2022 - No to nuclear weapons! - No to NATO!" is an independent drawing initiative that has had a great impact and has so far been signed by more than seventy artists.

Violence feeds violence.

This belief is shared by the artists who participate in this image appeal.

We protest against the military rearmament in which Sweden participates, which damages Sweden's freedom of alliance and the opportunity to act as mediator in international conflicts, and we protest against the Swedish government's choice not to sign the UN agreement banning nuclear weapons.

We are at a crossroads in 2022. Should Sweden continue on the path now set by the government to become part of the Western world's nuclear weapons strategy, or should we return to our traditional role as a diplomatic and peace-promoting actor in the international arena?
