A reporter asked the president on Thursday if he would reconsider his decision to stay in the race if his team had statistics showing that Vice President Kamala Harris would do better than him in the election, according to CNBC.

"The end is near"
It is not only top politicians and George Clooney who want him to drop out of the race. According to CNN, Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi have also spoken privately about Biden and the future of the presidential campaign.
Both the former president and the former speaker of the House of Representatives are said to have expressed concern about how much more difficult it will be for Biden to win over Trump. According to the news channel, none of them really know what to do.
