JD Vance becomes Trump's running mate
Donald Trump has chosen Ohio Senator JD Vance as his vice presidential candidate, he himself writes on Truth Social.
"After thinking it over carefully and considering the amazing abilities of many others, I have decided that the person best suited to be Vice President is Senator JD Vance from the proud state of Ohio," Trump wrote.
The 39-year-old venture capitalist Vance was previously a critic of Donald Trump, but in recent years has swung. He is seen as a tough debater and was one of the Republicans who, after the assassination attempt on Donald Trump, singled out Biden as indirectly responsible.
