Kremlin dismisses assassination plans at German industrial top
The Kremlin dismisses the American information that Russia planned to assassinate German arms manufacturer Rheinmetall CEO Armin Papperger, reports AFP. Spokesperson Dimitriy Peskov calls the accusations "a fake story" that cannot be taken seriously.
The plans were revealed by CNN citing Western security sources. According to the records, the US informed German authorities who could protect Papperger.
