NATO still keeps the membership door open for Ukraine.
Russia will now turn a deaf ear to CEO Jens Stoltenberg - who has agreed to the bank manager in Norway.
- He is not a person whose statements will be considered serious for us in Moscow. He is a NATO figure, says Maria Zakharova at the Russian Foreign Ministry.
The security situation between Russia and Ukraine is still strained.
It also seems that the relationship between Russia and NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg is now, according to a statement from Maria Zakharova at the Russian Foreign Ministry.
On Wednesday afternoon, Stoltenberg held a press conference where he updated on the security situation. Then he pointed out again that NATO is not closing any door to membership for Ukraine or other nations.
"No longer of interest"
Subsequently, the Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova held a press conference where she responded to speeches.

Then she questioned, among other things, Jens Stoltenberg's current title, reports the news agency Tass. He has recently been appointed new Governor of the Central Bank of Norway when he completes his assignment within NATO.
- These statements from Stoltenberg, who is NATO's Director General - or banker, I'm still confused - are no longer of interest to us, says Maria Zakharova.
According to her, Russia will no longer take the NATO chief's statements seriously.
- He is not a person whose statements will be considered serious for us in Moscow. He is a NATO figure, she says.
