Concerns about Belarus entering the war are rising.
At dawn, the first Russian troops arrived at Belarus' border with Ukraine.
At the same time, dictator Lukashenko has ordered the warplanes to be equipped to carry nuclear weapons.
Pictures from the Ministry of Defense of Belarus show how the Russian troops are greeted with both food and an orchestra when they arrived in the country.
The announcement comes after dictator Aleksander Lukashenko and his close ally Vladimir Putin said they had been "warned of an imminent attack from Ukraine" and decided to join forces.
The mission of the Russian soldiers is "exclusively to strengthen the protection and defense of the border", the Ministry of Defense stated on Saturday.

Increased concern
At the same time comes the news that the Iskander-M robotic system is being sent to Belarus and that the Belarusian Su-25 fighter jets are now being prepared to carry nuclear weapons.
At the moment, sending nuclear warheads is out of the question, according to a Russian diplomat.
ka of Iskander-M systems with conventional robots to Belarus and to give some Su-25 aircraft the technical capability to carry nuclear weapons, the diplomat told Belarusian media, according to The Guardian.
The newspaper writes that Lukashenko already talked about equipping the aircraft with nuclear weapons in June. Later in August, he said the planes were already equipped with the technology.

Minsk has claimed that the military cooperation with Russia is "purely defensive", but the announcement has led to increased concern that Belarusian troops could join the offensive of Russian forces in Ukraine, according to Sky News.
Train with weapons to Crimea
It has previously been reported that the Russian weapons stockpile is about to run out and experts have singled out Belarus as a helping hand.
According to the American think tank Institute for the Study of War, a train with close to 500 tons of ammunition has gone from Belarus to the Russian forces on the Crimean Peninsula.
According to the Ukrainian Security Service, Belarus will send another 13 trains with weapons, equipment, ammunition and other material in the near future.
