Voter turnout is expected to increase in France - can decide
In less than ten days it will be time for the French to vote again. The turnout is expected to be higher than usual, reports the public service site France Info.
According to the site, this factor becomes central to the country's fate, as it can determine the number of options voters will have in the second round.
Mathieu Gallard, director of the French polling institute Ipsos, explains that many French voters tend to perceive parliamentary elections as a validation election, since it was systematically organized after the presidential election.
- Now it is different: there is a question about who will rule the country after the election and whether the National Assembly will come to power, he tells France Info.
