Villa in Italy for sale - belonged to Mona Lisa's family
A mythical villa in Tuscany is up for sale for 18 million euros, equivalent to 210 million kroner, international media reports. At the end of the 15th century, the villa belonged to Francesco del Giocondo who shortly afterwards commissioned a painting from Leonardo da Vinci to paint his wife Lisa del Giocondo.
The property covers nearly 67 acres and the villa has three floors as well as a partially underground floor, according to Mansion Global. "With the chapel, the lemon house, the cellars, the oil mill, the garage and various agricultural service rooms," the total area of the villa is almost 4,000 square meters, according to Diletta Giorgolo, head of residences at Italy Sotheby's International Realty.

The rich wine family is expanding: "Available in all zones"
Since the 14th century, the noble Antinori family has produced wine in Tuscany, Italy, writes Handelsblatt in a report. When winemaker Piero Antinori retired in 2017 and handed over to his daughters – the 27th generation in direct descent – they broke new ground as the first female managers.
- The goal is to eventually pass it on to the next generation, says Albiera Antinori to the German business newspaper.
Today, Antinori functions more like a holding company. Part of their strategy is acquisition and international expansion, and recently Antinori has purchased wineries in Napa Valley and Washington. In total, they now own 28 vineyards.
- There are four to five zones in the world for fantastic wine - and we are in all of them, she tells the German business magazine.

Olympics in Paris 2024
Promised to hold down Olympic costs – experts doubt forecast
When French President Emmanuel Macron lights the Olympic flame in Paris on July 26, the Games are expected to be the cheapest since the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, writes Quartz. But experts warn that Paris, like most other Olympics, could go well over budget.
Among other things, security costs have skyrocketed and are often underestimated.
- I will not be surprised if the costs amount to 15 billion euros for Paris, while the revenue from the games will only be between 5 and 6 billion euros, says Andrew Zimbalist, professor of sports economics at Smith College, to Quartz.
A report from Oxford Economics estimates that Paris will exceed the budget by 115 percent. "These are not the cheap games that were promised," they write.

The development of the Swedish krona
So far weak crown summer - SEB predicts a new turnaround this autumn
The krone has weakened against both the dollar and the euro so far this summer. Amanda Sundström, currency strategist SEB, points to several possible explanations for why in an interview with SvD Näringsliv.
The fact that the Riksbank is expected to lower interest rates at a faster rate than other central banks may contribute to the weakening. Increased uncertainty in the world economy as well. In addition, the krona is being pressured by the lower turnover on the market, a "summer effect", according to Sundström.
SEB predicts that the trend will be reversed after the holidays and that the krona will strengthen strongly against both the dollar and the euro in the coming year.
