Britain is awaiting the election results - which look set to mean a change of government.

Around the country parties are organized with the theme "farewell drinks for the Tory party".

The first polling station poll shows that Labor is headed for a landslide victory.

The Tory Party looks set to hand over government power after 14 years.

The first polling station poll suggests it will be a landslide victory for Labor and party leader Keir Starmer. The party picks up 410 seats while the Tories take 131 and the Liberal Democrats 61.

Nigel Farage's Reform UK party meanwhile gets just 13.

In the pubs around the country, the British follow developments.

At The Lexington in Islington, the queue is 50 metres. Follow the vigil from a big screen. Loud cries are heard when Rishi Sunak appears.

- I am most excited about change. has had 14 years of conservative rule. It's become shit. Sorry, I don't know if I can swear or not, says Tom Vose, 29.

Will there be a party tonight?

- I think so, I don't want to start celebrating too early, but I think everyone is here because it can be a party.
