Joe Biden's fighting spirit in a new speech: "Do you think I'm too old to beat Trump?"
On Friday, Joe Biden gave a campaign speech in Wisconsin, in a situation where the entire United States is watching his public appearances for the slightest sign of age.
In a loud voice, he accused "some people" of trying to poke him, and underlined that he intends to run and win again.
- I'm not going to let a 90-minute debate erase 3.5 years of work, he shouted to cheers and "let's go Joe" chants from the audience.
Biden dismissed the talk that he is too old with a list of what his administration accomplished during the term, continuing:
- Do you think I'm too old to restore Roe v. Wade? To make billionaires pay more taxes? [...] Do you think I'm too old to beat Donald Trump?
He launched harsh attacks on Trump, calling him a convicted felon and a threat to democracy, and gave examples of Trump's own frogs.

Details: Senator wants to form alliance against Biden
Virginia Sen. Mark Warner is trying to form an alliance with other Democratic senators to pressure Joe Biden to give up his candidacy, two sources familiar with the matter told The Washington Post.
Warner is said to be behind the scenes trying to convince senators that Biden is no longer the right candidate after his debate performance, and that he cannot beat Trump, according to the sources.
The senator's spokeswoman Rachel Cohen would neither confirm nor deny the information.
"Like so many others in Washington and around the country, Senator Warner believes that these are crucial days for the president's campaign, and he has been clear with the White House about that," she wrote in a statement.

Trump distances himself from "Project 2025": "Ridiculous"
Donald Trump distances himself from the controversial "Project 2025", a controversial plan for the recasting of the American state apparatus developed by the conservative think tank Heritage Foundation.
On his social media platform Truth Social, Trump writes that he knows nothing about "Project 2025" or who is behind it.
"I don't agree with some of the things they say and some of the things they say are completely ridiculous and reprehensible [...] I have nothing to do with them."
Some of the goals of "Project 2025" are to drastically increase the political control of authorities, ban abortion and pornography, and mass deport migrants.
This week, Heritage Foundation director Kevin Roberts said the United States is "in the midst of a second American revolution, which will remain bloodless as long as the left allows it."
