Iran: Talks with the US continue to be indirect

Talks between the US and Iran will continue to be held "indirectly" with Omani mediation. This was announced by Iran's Foreign Ministry, reports AFP.

- Oman will remain the mediator, but we are discussing the location for future negotiations, says Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei on Iranian state television.

According to Baqaei, the talks will focus solely on "the nuclear issue and the lifting of sanctions".

Saturday's talks took place in Oman's capital Muscat and were described by the White House as "a step forward". The next round of talks will take place on April 19.

Israel bombed hospital - emergency room destroyed

Israeli forces attacked the al-Ahli hospital in Gaza City on Sunday night, Al Jazeera and Reuters report. Two projectiles hit the hospital, which led to the destruction of the emergency room, among other things.

No one was reported to have been injured. The attack occurred shortly after Israel ordered immediate evacuations of the hospital.

According to the Israeli military, the hospital was used as a command center by the terrorist group Hamas. Hamas-controlled authorities in Gaza call the attack “disgusting and dirty.”
