Report: NATO Wants Five Times More Air Defense

NATO wants European member states to increase their ground-based air defenses fivefold to counter the threat from Russia, sources told Bloomberg.

The goal will be discussed at a meeting in Brussels on Thursday and would affect European member states in general, and affect member states to varying degrees based on how their air defenses look today. New portrait of Trump - unclear why it is being replaced

The White House has unveiled a new official portrait of Donald Trump, reports CBS. The portrait shows him in a slightly different light than the one presented for his inauguration in January. His face is highlighted by deep shadows and he has a different color tie now: his signature red, instead of a blue one. The background is now black, previously he was seen in front of an American flag.

Trump's official portrait has sparked reactions on social media during both of his terms in office, Newsweek notes. During his first term, he was depicted smiling broadly – ​​in his second, he has had a comparatively serious expression.

The White House has not shared any information about why Trump's portrait is being replaced.
